BR 2-14: Ant Cities

“In the rooms of the nest, worker ants do many different kind of work. It is like a city, a busy city of ants.” (p.10.)

This is the book of ant world. Have you seen ants nest? I have not seen it. This book is drew ants nest. It is so interesting for me to see it.

Do you know some kinds of ants? I explain about it. Queen ant is usually bigger than the other ants. I want to see her. Workers ants are all females. They do the work in the ant city. They will also fight to protect the nest. I was surprised it. New queen ant have wings. They use them to fly away to try to start new ants cities. Their wings drop off, and then the queens lay eggs. I do not know why drop off their wings. Male ants do not live in the nest for long. They fly away with the new queens to mate. Then they die. It sounds so sad.

If you interested in ants, you should read this book. It is so fun for me to read. You will have good time. I recommend it for you. I enjoyed reading this book.
