Essays 2-03a: Joint movie review

We will write about a star who is Cate blanchett? Do you know her? She is famous star in Hollywood. She plays many characters in movies. She appears a lot of movies. For example, she appears “Oscar and Lucinda”, “Thanks God He Met Lizzie”, “Elizabeth”, “The Talented Mr. Ripley”, “Bandits”, “The Lord of the Rings”, “Veronica Guerin”, “The Aviator”, “Little Fish”, “Notes on a Scandal”, “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button”, “Ponyo”, and “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” so on. Have you seen that movies? If you have free time, you should watch these movies. That’s because, it is so fun. We chose two movies of essay. It is “Elizabeth” and “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button”.

 

We will write about a star life who is Cate Blanchett. She was born May 14th, 1969 Melbourne in Australia. Melbourne is the second biggest city in Australia. She grew up in it. She went to school “Methodist Ladies’ College”. She studied about art history and economy history. However, she quitted this college. And, she went to The National Institute of Dramatic Art. After she learned about actor, she became a star. She married Andrew Upton in December 29th 1997. She had three babies. Dashiell and Roman Lgnatius. When we searched her life, we thought she looks so happy.

 

Ruri watched movie “Elizabeth”. This work was given academy award, golden globe award, make up award, British work award, British academy award. And Cate Blanchett was given the leading actress award at this work. Cate Blanchett is acting Elizabeth I at this work. The character is Queen of England and Ireland. She is so famous. The Elizabeth I is known as greatest victor in a history of England. The character is what is impossible to become in real for us and the part which is queen who is to assume a country is difficult but Cate is acting and expressing Queen's trait and her feelings very well in this movie. Elizabeth has  queen's disposition, vigor, commanding, volitional strength, delicate sensibility and the like. And Cate express those and do delicate acting brilliantly.

 

Momoko watched movie “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button”. Do you know this movie? And, have you seen it? If you have not seen this movie, you should watch this movie. It is so fun. I like this movie too. This movie appears many stars. Brad Pitt,Taraji P. Henson, Julia Ormond, Tilda Swinton, Elle Fanning, Jason Flemyng and Elias Koteas so on.

 

I tell you about the plot of this movie. Cate Blanchett act Daisy in this movie. Brad Pitt act Benjamin in it. They first met in younger. Benjamin looks old, but he is younger boy. He became younger little by little. And she became old little by little. First, they feel so happy because they spend many times with them. However, finally is so sad. They struggled about younger and older. Benjamin gave up becoming father, because he could not become normal father, never. And he disappears into thin air. After many years ago, they met. However, Benjamin looks little little boy and he forgot her, Daisy. Finally, he died into her arm as baby. I did not understand her feelings because she looks unhappy or happy. When I watched this movie, I deeply thought about life and dye. If you interested in this movie, you should watch this movie. You will like it. And you will think deeply about life and dye.

 

Cate Blanchett. The actress can act any part by her delicate sensibility. And She can have her charm in a part. So, we always are fascinated by her acting in movies.
