Essays 1-01a: Revised letters to host families

  Hello, my name is Momoko.  I’m from Kumamoto in Kyushu. 

I have my father and my mother and my older brother and younger sister. 

My father’s job is a deliveryman. My mother’s job is a dietitian. 

I have two dogs. They are parent and child, and are welsh corgi Pembroke. Corgis have short legs and long bodies and they don’t have a tail. 

My older brother is twenty-one years old and his name is Taishi. He is kind to us.

My younger sister’s name is Miku. She is fourteen years old. She joins the basket ball team in her junior high school. 

  My hobby is listening to music. I like all kinds of music, and I especially classical music. I love Chopin and Rachmaninov. I like Piano concertos. 

The most favorite concerto is Piano Concerto No.2 by Rachmaninov. 

I joined the brass band club in my high school. My part was percussion. I can play the drums and the marimba. I want to play Piano. 

I love Michael Jackson. I like his songs better than his dance.

I like watching movies. For example, High School Musical and Hanna Montana. Do you know them? These are very interesting! Please tell me your hobbies.

   I study English and German. German is more difficult than English, because I like England better than Germany. 

I want to speak English very well. I can’t speak English fluently.

I want to talk you. I will enjoy talking you. I want to make friends with you.
