Have you seen owls ever? I had seen owls many times in pet shop. When I saw owls first time, I thought they are pretty big. Do you know detail of owls? If you do not know it, you should read this book. This book teach you detail of owls.

Owls smarter than human i think when i read this book. That's because a barn owl can see 50 times better than human in the dark. I  am  so surprised. So owls can turn their heads 280 degrees. My head can turn 180 degrees. I can not turn my head 280 degrees.

If you like owls, you will want to read this book. 

This book is so interesting for me.

BR 2-02: What do you want to know about Halloween?

Trick or Treat( n.p.) 

This is Halloween’s story. Do you know Halloween? Halloween is on October 31th and November 1st in many country. Halloween have the story. October 31th when winter came and the ghosts of dead people came, farmer thought it. So people tried to trick the ghost. The other name for November 1st is All Hallows Day. The evening befoe All Hallows Day is All Hallows Evening. Most people call All Hallows Evening by the name Halloween. Around the world something do in Halloween. In Canada and the US, children dress up and be given candy. In Santiago Sacatepéquez, Guatemala people fly big beautiful kits. In Ireland children play games and eat Barn Brack a fruit bread. Last Halloween, I made Jack O’s Lantern. I will make it this Halloween. Halloween is made me exciting. This book is so fun!

My favorite place I've been

My favorite place is so many. First, I write Minnesota in America. I have been Minnesota in this summer. I spent Minnesota for a month. Minnesota has so many lakes. We always go to lake, because we swimming in the lake. However, I like sea better than lake. That's because lake is a little dirty. I enjoyed shopping and talking and swimming...everything. Next, I like Kyoto very much. I like Kyoto's food. When I have been Kyoto, I ate Macha pafe. It was so good. I do not forget tasty. I want to eat again. Next, I like Aso very much. I have been there so many times. Aso has so many good places. I always go to Aso with my friends. We like driving.

This is so cute. I like this flower. I like summer very much. That's because I enjoy summer vacation with my friends. I always go to sea and river, and we always camping. We often eat BBQ. My favorite dessert is cakes. I like cakes very much. I like cakes better than meals. I know many kind of cakes. For example, short cakes and cheese cakes and tart and chocolate cakes and muse and rolled cakes and shoe cream etc... I like everything. Sweets always make me happy. When I down my feel, I eat sweets. That’s because, Cakes cheer up me. I want to eat cakes everyday and every time. However, I can not eat everyday, I am afraid to get fat more. I want to thin but I want to eat cakes. I always struggle cake and thin. I like to eat as same as to cook cakes. I often cook cakes, because I can eat everything by myself. I often make cheese cakes. Cheese cakes so easy. I can make it many kinds. I like rare cheese cakes.

Mississippi Paddleboat Cruise

I went on a Mississippi River boat in Minnesota. It was so excited for me, because I had never to ride paddle boat cruise in my life. The river reminded me two stories. It is Huckleberry Finn and Tom sawyer. I studied this story by Kumiko Mukai.
The mississippi drop 420 feet or 140 meters between Minneapolis and St. Louis. It is so big river. I spent four weeks in Minneapolis. St. Louis is the state of Missouri. The first name of Saint Paul was Pig's Eye. Pig's Eye was frontiersman pioneer.
I enjoyed cruising in Mississippi. I want to go there again.

For my family letter in Minnesota

I spent four weeks in Minnesota. It was a splendid and valuable experience for me. Before I did my home-stay program, I could not imagine life in America. That's because, my image was from television. Now i feel close to life in America. It is very different from Japan and very stimulate!!
It was not easy for me to live in different language country. However, I enjoyed four weeks with the Algers who were very kind to me. I feel I changed while I was in America. One thing I understand is how much I owe my family. I feel the same way about the Alger and my family because they supported me very much.
I feel that I should study English very hard in Japan, because I want to communicate with everyone. I felt me irritated I can not speak English fluently, but all the same I want to study English very hard. The joy of speaking English was an encouragement to me.
I felt I have matured as a result of that experience. I deeply appreciated Brian, Joan, Marin, Gracia, Joel, Linda and Peggy. Thank you for hosting me and teaching me, so I want to meet you again. Thank you.

Jetlag

I will talk about Jet lag. Jet lag is a result of travel across several time zones. I became Jet lag in Minnesota life first day. When your body clock perceives light or darkness many hours later or earlier than usual, the part of the brain that activates hunger, thirst, sleep, body temperature, blood pressure, hormones, and glucose in the blood stream, may give you body confusing massages. When I became Jet lag, I became better next day. I tried good sleep for a long time. If you become Jet lag, you good sleep for a long time, and you may good.

BR 2-01: Big Fat Cat and the Mustard Pie

This story is a slight sad. Ed Wishbone ran his shop in the small town of Everville, and he lived there with big fat cat. He was burdened with the cat, because the cat always stole blueberry pie. The cat liked this pie. He always angry because the blueberry pie is so important. However, he loved the cat I think so.
One day, he must leave this mall, because his owner escaped to somewhere for his dept. Ed was so surprised and in awkward. However, he did not give up to run his shop. However, the dream came not true. He lost everything. He was so sad. However, the big fat cat never leave Ed's side. I think that the big fat cat cheered up Ed. I am so happy because the story is happy end.
You ought to read this book, and you will enjoy this story!

How to study any language

Good morning. I'm Momoko Honda. I will talk about how to study any language. I had learned any language in my life.

I had study Japanese and English and German and Korean. I always use Japanese and English. Because, I am Japanese and I major English in college.

I talk about how to study Japanese. I always listened Japanese from my mother and father in childhood. and I read some books in Japanese. and I study Japanese in school for a long time, elementary school, junior high school and high school. and I listen Japanese music so many.

Next, I talk about how to study English. I remember some words in English on TV. Japanese TV often use English word. And I learned English grammar in junior high school and high school. And I study Writing skill and Listening skill and Speaking skill and Reading skill everyday in Kumamoto Gakuen University.

Next I talk about how to study German. I learned German by Akiomi Yagi. He is german teacher in Kumamoto Gakuen university. I studied German in freshman. It was so difficult for me to study german. I used text book and radio tape in German.

Last, I talk about how to study Korean. I learned Korean by Paku. He is Korean teacher in Kumomoto Gakuen University. I took this class in freshman, but I couldn't get credit, because I little go this class. I couldn't get up so early. I will try to take Korean next semester. I used text book and Korean movie.
