"...Princess Poppy, will you marry me?"(p.47)
Chapter 1 is princess in trouble. The princess Poppy was furious, because she will have to marry prince Humperdink. She didn't like him. I would not rather marry him. Prince Humperdink was smelly and smug and slimier than a frog. It is no wonder she want not to marry him. I agree her.
Chapter 2 and 3 is Poppy's promise. When she ran down the path to the palace pond, she slipped into the pond and her beautiful golden ball drop into it. So, she met the frog. He helped her, but had conditional. The conditional was Poppy spend with him every day. She promised him. However, when he gave her the golden ball, she broke her word. I think that everyone must not break your word. The king also thought it. That's because she was cruel.
Chapter 4 is into the palace. The king was promised her about her word. I looked up to him, because he wasn't babying Poppy too much. It was so great! Poppy a spoiled child I thought.
Chapter 5 is the frog prince. She picked the frog up and threw him out of her window, so she suddenly realizes what she'd done. And, she bent down and kissed him to sorry. Just then, the frog transformed himself into the prince. I think that in fairy tales animals very often transform themselves into human being. So, he married her. I did not understand what he married her. That's because she did something spiteful to him. If I was him, I want not to marry her. His proposal of marriage had humor,
"If you promise not to throw me out of the window again...Princess Poppy, will you marry me?" I like this word. The story based on the story by the Brothers Grim.
